Epidermolysis bullosa (EB) is a genetically determined dermatological disease, characterized by the appearance of painful blistering lesions affecting the skin and mucous membranes. Prevention measures and dental caries treatment in patients with EB present a challenge for dental care due to the formation of mucous membranes lesions during intervention in the oral cavity. Elimination of pain and difficulties with food intake are essential to improving the quality of life of those suffering from EB. This case report presents two patients with the dystrophic form of EB.

Key words: genodermatosis, epidermolysis bullosa, COL7A1.
