Males are affected more often than female patients. It usually occurs unilaterally. Salivary stone sizes range from 3 to 7 mm, they occur as single or multiple stones of various shapes. In this condition, the recommended and favoured therapy method is the laser technique. The goal of this paper is to compare the results of salivary stone treatments performed by means of conventional surgical procedures and laser techniques.
