DOI: https://doi.org/10.20883/df.2018.10. The use of systemic drugs due to their pharmacokinetics has a direct effect on the pathology being treated, but also on the other physiological functions of the body. An important and underestimated region of the body in terms of manifestation of adverse drug reactions is the oral cavity, and the most serious changes from the point of view of the patient and dentist are ulcers of the oral mucosa. This publication aims to gather main groups of drugs that cause these pathologies during their systemic use.
