Publication describes the case of the treatment of gingival recession in the anterior part of the maxilla with the use of the tunnel technique and connective tissue transplantation. A positive therapeutic effect was obtained in the form of covering the recession. The success could have been influenced by many factors: proper diagnosis of the problem and qualification for the procedure, selection of the appropriate surgical technique based on the microsurgical concept, manual skills of the team performing the procedure, patient awareness and strict adherence to postoperative recommendations.
