Bruxism is a disease that manifests itself on many levels. One of the visible symptoms is a significant thickness of the masseter muscle. The use of botulinum toxin (off label) in the treatment of bruxism clearly results in the disappearance of symptoms in the studied case and a significant reduction in the thickness of the masseter in the ultrasound examination in the described patient.

Key words: botulinum toxin, bruxism, ultrasound examination.
