The paper presents a case of a 60-year-old patient with a primary mandibular cyst. The patient complained of pain and increasing cheek swelling that had been ongoing for a month. Clinical examination revealed pain on pressure in the retromolar region. Radiological examination revealed an extensive cyst of the right mandible. The decision was made to enucleate the cyst under local anesthesia. The healing process was normal. Histopathological examination confirmed the primary cyst.
