The article presents the structure, physicochemical properties, and the broad spectrum of applications of calcium hydroxyapatite in dentistry and aesthetic medicine. Calcium hydroxyapatite exhibits high biocompatibility and bioactivity, stimulates the regeneration of type I and III collagen, proteoglycans, and elastin, and promotes the formation of new tissues and blood vessels. Due to these properties, calcium hydroxyapatite is considered a biomaterial with great research potential and broad possibilities for medical application.
