The project is co‑financed by Switzerland under the Swiss Contribution Program with the new Member States and by the Ministry of Health. It educates children aged 0–5 years, their parents, caregivers, kindergarten teachers, nurses and midwives as well as doctors using a variety of materials. Nurses and midwives distribute leaflets among parents of children aged 0–2. Children between the age of 3–5 years receive a different leaflet for preschoolers which shows how they should take care of oral hygiene on their own. Their parents and caregivers receive an educational booklet. The materials are distributed during presentations in kindergartens carried out by educators. They also show educational movies for children and parents created specifically for the purposes of the Project. Kindergarten teachers receive a package of materials that should help them carry out the lesson. Each preschooler gets a set for oral hygiene consisting of a toothbrush and toothpaste. The project is supported by the Rabbit Pampis which is a mascot of the Project and a hallmark for children as well as a leitmotif of all educational materials developed in the Project.

Key words: oral health, education.
