Introduction. Posturographic studies allow for the registration and analysis of parameters such as velocity, sway area and path length of the center of gravity of the body. Posturography are widely used in many research, for example dependence between aging and postural stability, in studies of children with cerebral palsy or in people affected by Parkinson's disease. Problems with postural stability is often result from disorders of the nervous system. However, temporomandibular joints can also affect postural stability. Aim. The aim of the study was to determine velocity, sway area and path length using a posturographic platform in people with healthy temporomandibular joints. Material and Methods. ICS Balance Platform was used. It’s allowed to determine the parameters such as velocity, sway area and path length. Results. The results are presented for people with healthy temporomandibular joints. The speed, path length and surface area were analyzed.

Key words: postural stability, posturograph, temporomandibular joints, temporomanidibular joint dysfunctions.
