The restoration of endodontically treated teeth is a topic that is extensively studied and yet remains controversial. Questions and contradictory opinions remain about clinical procedures and materials to be used. The aim of this article is to find factors that should be taken into consideration when rebuilding teeth treated endodontically. It was concluded that that the amount of remaining coronal tooth structure and functional requirements are the most important determinants while treatment planning.
