The analysis of facial attractiveness has been and is the subject of research interests, over the centuries, by many researchers in various aspects. The influence on the perception of facial appearance is conditioned by many factors, e.g. biological, cultural or social. A doctor performing procedures in the field of facial aesthetic dentistry does not have an easy task, because the aim of his actions should be to emphasize the beauty of each person, taking into account the patient's face, his wishes and the real possibilities of performing procedures correcting the appearance of the teeth. This is finding a way between acceptable and individual beauty, where the variability of the perception of facial attractiveness conditioned by biological quality, physiological condition, but also race, culture, gender or age, is not without significance.
